The information makes us be confused. Which one is true? Actually, the Great Wall was branching. Totally, length of the Great Wall is 8.858,8 kilometers. The Great Wall is listed as World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Great Wall of China can be visited at many places along its length of several thousand kilometers. Its situation ranges from excellent to ruined and access from straightforward to quite difficult.
When we had climbed the Great Wall, from the seller around the Great Wall we can to buy some of souvenir and a certificate which state that “I HAVE CLIMED THE GREAT WALL” that wrote in Chinese and English. Canadian Rockies is one of the destinations that always remembered by everyone who ever visit to Canada. Canadian Rockies is a famous destination place in Canada. The beautiful of Canadian Rockies make everyone who ever see the mountain was falling in love. Magnificence view like snow, glacier, lake, waterfall, and other beautiful view around the mountain causing this place visited by many people around the world.
There are five national park situated around the Canadian Rockies. All of that are Banff National Park, Jasper National Park, Waterton National Park, Glacier National Park, and Yoho National Park. All of the National Park is the world heritage site that listed by UNESCO, except to Waterton National Park.
Generally, the trip get started from Valemount City, the city is the gateway on a journey to Canadian Rockies. The next course was passing through the Jasper National Park and we can see Mount Robson. Mount Robson is the highest mount in Rockies Mountain. Everyone can feel comfort and amazed during the trip, everyone can enjoy the very beautiful view along the way up to Canadian Rockies.After passing through the Jasper National Park, in Columbia Ice Field the visitor can visit Athabasca Glacier. Athabasca Glacier was a miracle of nature that created by snow flurries about 400 years ago. But, the glacier is going melt down, caused by global warming. Around the area, everyone also can see the beautiful of mountain that capped by snow from elevated place about 3000 meters above the sea level.
In Banff National Park, we can see Lake Louise and Mount Victorial and the glacier that so beautiful. From this place, next we can go to Mount Sulphur, to see and enjoy Bow Waterfall or other beautiful view. Here, we also can see Hoodoos. Hoodoos is petrify mushroom caused by physical process as long as thousands of years.
There are so many places around the Canadian Rockies that reasonable to visit. Like Drumheller Town, here we can visit the smallest church that able entered by six persons only. And we can visit Museum of Royal Tyrrell Paleontology to see dinosaur fossil. Everyone who ever visit here always saying that Canadian Rockies is a wonderful place. The world heritage site that so beautiful and cannot be told in words.
Not only countries in Asia is exotic, but also Portugal, the country where is westernmost in Europe. Portugal has many of attractive places that make the people from the entire of the world want to visit Portugal. Other than the culture, people know Portugal as the country that has many of amazing ancient buildings also.
Usually, the tour to Portugal and Spain is one package. Because Portugal is abut on Spain. In retrospect, Portugal was at enmity with Spain. In the past, both of the country is the roamer nation. Portugal and Spain make every endeavor to discover the treasure in all over the world. In the end, the border area between Portugal and Spain ruled by The Treaty of Tordesillas, in 7 June 1494.
The Treaty of Tordesillas divided the newly discovered lands outside Europe between Spain and Portugal along a meridian 370 leagues west of the Cape Verde islands (off the west coast of Africa). This line of demarcation was about halfway between the Cape Verde Islands (already Portuguese) and the islands discovered by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage (claimed for Spain), named in the treaty as Cipangu and Antilia (Cuba and Hispaniola). The lands to the east would belong to Portugal and the lands to the west to Spain. The treaty was ratified by Spain (at the time, the Crowns of Castile and Aragon), 2 July 1494 and by Portugal, 5 September 1494. The other side of the world would be divided a few decades later by the Treaty of Zaragoza or Saragossa, signed on 22 April 1529, which specified the antimeridian to the line of demarcation specified in the Treaty of Tordesillas. Originals of both treaties are kept at “the Archivo General de Indias” in Spain and at the “Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo” in Portugal.
By following the history, Roman, Spain, and Moor had ever been of power in Portugal. Even the relics from Roman and Moor still stand-out in the entire of the city in Portugal. One of the treasures is situated in Evora, the old city that listed in UNESCO as the world heritage site. The city where situated about 130 kilometers from Lisboa, the Capital of Portugal. Other than the temple, there is other ancient building like Monastery of Jeronimos. The monastery is situated not far from Tagus River. At first, the monastery is chapel. Chapel is the place for Catholic Priests and Kings to bless the sailors that would make a voyage passing through Tagus River.
And one of the Moor’s relics is Palace of the Counts of Basto. The palace is Moor’s castle that placed by the family of Afonsine Dynasty. The architecture style is Gothic, Moorish, and Renaissance.
Totally, there are about 4000 ancient buildings that we can found in Portugal. Begin at Palace, Church, Castle, University, Office and many of ancient buildings in Portugal showing the historical heritage site and cultural treasure in the past. Evora also get the predicate as the City Museum. All of that make people around the world visit Portugal to see and enjoy the exotic of Portugal.
Angkor Wat built by King Suryavarman II in 12nd century. Angkor Wat used as the King’s temple and the capital also. To build the temple, the workers use the stone from the mountain as far as 50 kilometers, the stone weight was about 4 tons. Then the stone chiseled and the workers arrange the stones until become a temple.
After King Suryavarman had died. Then the empire changed by King Jayavarman VII that also build his temple and new capital named Angkor Thom. Situated a few kilometers from Northbound of Angkor Wat.
The story of a loss of the temple was happen when Thailand Kingdom attack and grab all of palace property in Angkor Wat in 1481. Then the king leave the palace regretfully. And then he replaces the empire to Phon Phem. Year after year was passing away, until Angkor Wat covered by the jungle and the people forget the palace.
The entire of Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom was black. From the distance looked like black stones. Because when French discover the temple in 19th century, they clean the temple by burn the thicket that covering the temple.
The characteristic of Angkor Wat is resemble like Borobudur Temple and Prambanan Temple in Indonesia. On the wall of Angkor Wat chiseled relief that describe about the life in the past. Other relief also situated many of statues in the temple entrance. God statue situated in right side, and devil statue situated in left side. Several of statues was stand sturdily. But several of statues have no head or broken. It caused by somebody who steal the statue and sell the statue.
In Ta Prohm Temple, there is one old and tall tree growing in the temple. As the story goes, the temple built by King Jayavarman VII in memory of his mother. By following the story of people around, the king love his mother so much. Then, when his mother had died, the tree was growing to protect the king or her son. There are thousands of Buddha statues in this temple, but the condition is broken now.
About 1 million tourists visit this world heritage site every year. To come in the Angkor Wat the visitors must paying US$ 40. Then the official will take the visitor’s picture as the identity card. The visitors must show the card during in the Angkor Wat location.
The name of Mount Sanqingshan is no stranger to people in China even in the world. Mount Sanqingshan was a beautiful blend a number of mount like Mount Hu-angshan, Mount E’Mei, Mount Lushan, and Mount Huashan. The entire of the mount was very beautiful. Mount Sanqingshan comprise of forest, waterfall, and granite rocks that very amazing, also situated a unique characteristic of Taoism culture. Mount Sanqingshan also known as Tao Mountain. All of that becomes a variety of tourism object that make the people who visit here amazed.
Mount Sanqingshan Naional Park was an area about 22.905 hectares that it was one of the world heritage site. The mountain was situated about 50 miles from Yushan, Jiangxi. The mountain ranges are spectacular views. The meaning of Sanqingshan or “San Qing” was “Three Peaks”; that was Yujing Mountain, Yushui Mountain, and Yuhua Mountain. Among the three of the mountain, Yujing Mountain was the top level, about 1.817 meters above the sea level.
The tourists also have a chance to see and enjoy some of natural phenomenon like Sea Cloud, Waterfall Cloud, bright light of Sanqing, and Five Colors of Path on the Cloud, and many more of unique things can you see here. Not only that, in spring, the tourists can to enjoy a view like mount that snow capped.
Mount Sanqingshan known by the people as the spectacular nature view in China. Chinese National Geography has recommend the mount as one of five mounts that most beautiful in China. Even, Chinese Geologist and American Geologist agree that the granite rock of Mount Sanqingshan as the most spectacular granite in West of Pacific Ocean.
Mount Sanqingshan becomes the spiritual center that very important for Tao religion followers. Tao was an ancient culture that so unique in China. Tao buildings was a historic place like Sanqing Temple, Palace of Dragon and Tiger, Pagoda of Wind, and Pagoda of Storm. Tao buildings also has characteristic carving that so interest.
Mount Sanqingshan or San Qing Mountain had registered a National Park of China. It was famous honey pot in China. There are 2.373 species of flora and 1.728 species of fauna in Mount Sanqingshan. Mount Sanqingshan becomes the most multifarious ecology in East Asia. There are 144 flora and fauna that protected by National Key Protection in China.
